Now that we are a few days into the new year, I can't help but notice how hard it is to let go of 2015. When I sign my name, my hand automatically scribbles down "1/5/2015" on the date line. When I look at my milk's expiration date, I happily smile to see "2015." But then, I luckily realize -- nope, that's expired. It's like I'm caught in the middle. Not completely past 2015 but not completely into 2016. Although difficulty adjusting into the new year happens, indeed, every year for me, I began to think a lot more about why this is so...

New Site Design + Branding!

My friends, the day has come! The Kipi Blog just got a (mega pastel) makeover! It's been a long time coming and I'm so excited to share my new look with you, which was inspired by all things summer of course! One of my friends said my blog looks like a vintage ice cream truck and I practically cried because that was my exact goal. Ever since I discovered how to actually use this amazing thing called Instagram, I've been able to focus a lot on my photography and, as a result, explore how it has evolved over time into 'my own'. I noticed that I am truly addicted to colors - especially pastel ones - and it was about time that my blog design mirrored the rainbow that is my other social media outlets. 

Update || A Moment

My apologies for the recent silence on the Kipi blog. This week has been one of many trials and I would like to take the week as a moment of silence for those affected, traumatized, and hurt by Monday's bombings in the Boston Marathon. Though many of those I know who were in the marathon or near the blast are safe, my heart continually wrenches for those whose lives have been brutally interrupted by the evil acts of others. Let us continue to pray and reach out to those in need of help, and may justice be rightfully carried through.

Update || On Vacation!

I know some of you must be wondering when the new posts are coming. I'm currently soaking up sunshine on my spring break vacation and, hence, have been taking a brief hiatus from the blogging world. However, I promise there's lots of wonderful stuff coming soon! All will resume back to normal this weekend :)
