Travel | Czech Republic

Monday, August 31

I've been to Czech Republic twice before, but this past June I had the chance to visit once more. Let me tell you: third time is definitely the charm! My husband is originally from Prague, so I am forever tied to this country, its delicious soups, historic soviet and renaissance charm, and slightly (impossibly!) difficult language to learn. What made this trip so different? Keep reading below...

Unlike before, I went to Czech Republic for my second wedding ceremony which meant bringing along friends and close family - many of whom have never been to the Czech Republic before. Although it was a bit more hectic, it also meant I got to explore a lot more of what Czech Republic has to offer through exploring the countryside with fresh eyes like a tourist in a new place. With my emphasis on color, I began to notice the not-so-secret beauty amidst the pastel buildings and wide range fields of this country. I can't wait to go back in the winter!
